See the difference
One of the best things about scanning your photo collection is having it in your hands, on your phone or tablet, and zooming in on faces and small details that inspire so many memories.
Our camera scanning method delivers more detail from every printed photo than you get from bulk scanning services – details that can let you zoom in tighter with your tablet or phone, and discover hidden details.
You can even print and frame enlargements without the jagged pixels you’ll see from a bulk scanning service.
You can see the difference on scans of this photo — it shows an experimental architectural project near Joshua Tree, California 30 years ago:
A photographic print from the 1990s.
The photo looks great in the wide view.
But most scanning services use automated “fast feed” equipment that can only deliver a maximum of 600 pixels per inch from a photo print.
Our camera scanner is fully customizable, and can deliver 400% more detail, with much better color and shading.
So if you zoom in on the t-shirt the woman in the straw hat is wearing, the “fast feed” scanner is full of noisy pixels. But our camera scanner captures all of the detail.

And here’s a full head of hair on one of the builders— our version looks better, and has none of the pixel noise.

And here’s a tiny detail on the gardening cart — you probably couldn’t see it with your eyes. You can read the “Yard Cart” logo from a print that’s over 30 years old… But not on the “fast feed” scan.

We hope everyone invests the time and effort to bring their older printed photos, slides and negatives into the digital age.
But if you’re going to do it, our motto is “Do it once, and do it right.”
Let’s talk about how we can help you can bring all of your photo (and video) memories back into your life.
